Oh yeah...

...I forgot to mention that during the Wine Fest Ride, we garnered the support of my father and 4 hours of his time. He so graciously lent his support by way of SAG-ing for my group. Dubbed "SAG Daddy", he was critical to our success and comfort during this ride. He lugged food, water, beer, tools, clothing, beer, etc...ensuring that we had everything we needed for the ride.

He was put to the test when he was pulled over by a state trooper. Apparently a local yokel called 911 because an unknown vehicle was parked out front of their house. People are strange. The kicker was that the cop finally pulled him over because he passed us, giving us all the room we needed, which placed him on the wrong side of the yellow lines. Ridiculous. He was let go with a warning...

So kudos pop...it was a great time...now we need to upload those photos!!

Back in the (mountain) saddle, again

It's been a while since I've put two wheels on dirt...too long. I have decided to stay single for the remainder of the rideable season. What a rude awakening. I thought I was going to pass out on Merryman's Loop, while Hoppe was putting on a show. It's good to have your ass handed to you once in a while...keeps ya honest. Oh...and no more large gas station choco-chip cookies before I ride...bad juju...and bad vurps.

Bike N' Brew weekend

The wiley road crew is having our one-week "reunion" ride, which will take place in either the northern rural section of Frederick County or around the city. Afterwards...Pumpkin Ale will be brewed...stay tuned!!!

Bye - Cycle
